When you really want to make a difference, you never stop trying. Rick Bangs found opportunities to help in his personal and professional life. Read on to hear how he and Marisa shared their big day.
"Last season (and the season before) at Farmington High, we put forth a
great deal of effort to raise money for CvC. We sold
wristbands at the home games leading up to our CvC night. In addition, we sold die cut basketballs as well. On
the actual night of our CvC game, all of the ticket sales,
as well as concession sales went to the Fight against Cancer. It was a
great sucess.
This past fall, on October 6, my fiancee and I were married. Instead of
offering traditional favors at our wedding, we made a donation to CvC for our guests. We felt it would be a great way to continue
contributing to the cause, even when its NOT basketball season.
My father and I also have tickets for the CvC Tournament in
New York City in mid-November."
